{January 11, 2009}   70th week of Daniel

The 70th Week of Daniel

The area that we’re going to go into, many of you may remember us touching on this, but we
haven’t got this on tape and recorded. Something that I think is very, very important and that is
the revelation that Daniel received.

We shared with you that we will continue to refer back to the prophets, from this point forward,
most everything you’re going to hear is going back to the law (or the 5 books of Moses) and the
Psalms and the prophets. Because Jesus said, that is where you validate truth from; that’s where
you find truth. He challenged the people when he told them, John 5:39 “Search the scriptures
for in them you think you have eternal life, and they are they which testify of me.”

So, we’re looking to find Jesus, the fulfillment of the cross in the books of Moses, the Psalms
and in the prophets. Instead of looking into the New Testament, which I value the New
Testament greatly but division has been brought through the New Testament by people who
agree with Paul’s teaching, or James’ teaching, or Johns’ teaching, which differ from each other.
It is not your own goofed up thinking that sees the difference between the teaching of these
people and of these men. Their teachings are in many areas different and they not only are they
different, they agreed that they disagreed with one other. They even rebuked one another
because of the things they were teaching.

Paul rebuked them and they called Paul in and had him examined and his doctrines examined
two times in conferences. These are listed in the book of Acts. They called Paul in before them
because they were really concerned about what he was teaching.

So rather than try to derive absolute truth out of the debates that these men had, lets go back to
the Scriptures which Paul, Peter, James and John and also Jesus referred us to so we can really
validate truth.

That doesn’t mean you can’t find truth in the New Testament but the fact of it is, there are many
places where one man would say one thing and one would say another. That is not an illusion
and evangelical Christianity has tried to say that there is no disagreement here. I think it has
really exposed the foolishness of evangelical Christianity because it doesn’t take an extremely
deep education in Greek or Hebrew or anything else to find that there are not discrepancies but
disagreements here amongst these guys.

They failed to understand some things and those are clearly stated in the book of Acts. Paul
pointed out some things that he believed they failed to understand. Jesus came and manifested
himself and pointed out things he felt they had misunderstood. As we look through the New
Testament which is a wonderful document to resolve issues and debates about truth, the New
Testament itself refers us back to the law. (the 5 books of Moses) the Psalms and the prophets.
That’s where we should go.

And let me reassure you of this, if you find something written in the New Testament and you
wonder whether or not it should be applicable to you, if you cannot find a place where the
prophets foretold that, then according to the teachings of Jesus, you have no obligation to those
things to try to make them that way. Because they themselves were respectful enough of what
was described as the Scriptures at that time, which was the law, the Psalms and the prophets, to
refer us back to that.

The 70th Week of Daniel

If we’re going to debate between what Paul said, what James said and what John said, go back if
you’re going to debate and look at what the law, the Psalms and the prophets had to say. They
all, (the Scriptures) according to the statements of Jesus, spoke about him. The law wasn’t about
the law according to Jesus. The law was about him. The Psalms, which we receive
encouragement from, weren’t about your daily lives. Jesus said the Psalms were all about him.
The prophets, even though we use it to scare the hell out of you about the future, according to
Jesus wasn’t about the future. It was all about him. It was about what was to take place.

The entire book of Revelation which we have already done an entire series entitled “The Book of
Revelation” which you can order. We encourage you to look at that. But everything that is in
the Book of Revelation, if you turn and listen to Jack VanEmpe or others who teach on the Book
of Revelation (many of their names escape me now) the one part of them that is the focus that
they themselves say is the hinging unfilled area that puts the Book of Revelation off in the future,
is Daniel’s prophecy; called the 70th week of Daniel.

Now evangelical Christianity has said this to you and me. I have taught it myself. Basically,
what is taught is the first 69 weeks of Daniel’s prophecy (which we won’t try and cover all of his
prophecy) went up to the cross. And the last week has been put on hold. And that when the
things that you see in the Book of Revelation begin to happen, that’s when you will see the
beginning of the last week of world history or the last week whether it’s speaking factual week
or just a terminology to give us a concept of a period of time. We’re told that this is going to
begin to happen sometime in the future, but the 70th week of Daniel has yet to begin.

How many of you have been taught that? That was the thing that we kind of hung on to about
the Book of Revelation. The 70th week of Daniel and the Book of Revelation is so tied together.
We have been taught that when the 70th week of Daniel is fulfilled, that is when the Book of
Revelation shall be fulfilled.

I of course believe that everything was fulfilled on the cross of Jesus Christ and that the Book of
Revelation detailed wonderful insights as to what the history of this world would have been had
Jesus not bore the sin of the whole world. Folks! I love the Book of Revelation now because I
know what torments would have come to this earth had Christ not stepped into the world scene
as God in the flesh. And he (Jesus) bore in his body the punishment and the anger of God for
sin. There is no more anger from God. Isaiah prophesied the time would come and after this
time, God would never be angry with us again and he spoke of the entire human race in its
comparison to the waters of Noah. God promised that after the cross, no one would ever see his
anger again. That’s incredible! We have a 6 tape series called “The Gospel of Peace” that
covers that in great detail.

You already see, whether this is your first time or many times here, that this is not traditional
evangelical Christianity because we have Jesus ministry divided up into 2 parts; when he was
here and died on the cross and the rest of it because we do not believe and do not accept the
completed work of the cross. We have him coming back to resolve sin and to punish all the
wicked at some point in the future.

I believe with all my heart that’s the reason Jews do not believe because they studied those
Scriptures and they know that the Messiah that was prophesied about would come and do away
with iniquity. The ones who do study this, the Old Testament, whoever might be students of it,

The 70th Week of Daniel

as much as we have been students of the New Testament, they know that the prophets never
foretold of a time that God would send the Messiah to give the world a chance. It is not recorded
anywhere that I can find. God sent the Messiah to redeem the world and not just give the world
a chance.

As we stated to you last night, and I believe this with all my heart, that if Ezekiel, Isaiah,
Jeremiah and Daniel were to be sitting in most Christian conferences and hear how that this man
they call Messiah, came to this world and died to give the world a chance, I believe Ezekiel,
Isaiah, Jeremiah and Daniel would resoundingly reject the one we call Jesus as the Messiah.
Because they would turn to each other and say, “Daniel, did you prophesy that God would send a
Messiah that would give people a choice?” “Jeremiah, did you prophesy a time that God would
send the Messiah and the Messiah would offer a choice?” “Well, no! I didn’t, how about you?”
“Ezekiel, did you?” Ezekiel would resoundingly say, “No! I prophesied a time.” “Jeremiah
how about you? Did you prophesy as I did when God would send the Messiah to the earth that
he would destroy sin, do away with iniquity, erase transgressions, that he would finish the work;
that it would be complete and not something divided up into two different ages of time?” “Did
you prophesy Ezekiel, Daniel and Jeremiah that the end of the world was the end of the age of
Judaism and the end of the age of time when the law was requiring men to perform to be
righteous before God. Did you prophesy that?” “Isaiah, did you prophesy about a time when
God was going to come and destroy the earth, the universe and the planets?” “No, I never
prophesied that.” Because he didn’t! Neither did Ezekiel or Daniel or any of these prophesy a
time when God was going to come and destroy this planet.

They prophesied that God was going to come and destroy a covenant; a period and age of time
when man lived under the law, guilt, condemnation and judgment, where they offered sacrifices
of sin through the blood of goats and animals and a priesthood through men. It was prophesied
that God would come and destroy that system; an end of that age or the end of that world and it
would be over with completely and forever.

The very same Bible that evangelical Christianity uses to prophesy that the destruction of the
universe, the stars, the moon and everything that we know of today, you can go right back to the
Psalms and the Proverbs and read about how that God’s creation will never be destroyed.

The Jehovah Witnesses has got us on that one a couple of times. They set down and showed us.
That’s when they believed they were the 144,000 that were going to stay here and rule and reign
over this wonderful world that was going to be staying here. Why? Because they saw the
fallacy of Christianity that it still did not give them enlightenment because folks, all things are in
Christ. Jesus is Lord. This line of thinking hasn’t taken me to believe that you can get to God
through Buddha, Hinduism or whatever. It hasn’t taken me to that point. I appreciate Hinduism.
I appreciate Buddhism. I actually appreciate it more than I do Christianity because Buddhism
teaches more about the nature of the completed work of the cross; more than Christianity does.
It honestly does without preaching Christ. It teaches the nature of it better than Christianity has
ever been able to do. There’s only one redeemer and that’s Jesus Christ. Jesus didn’t die on the
cross so we could get to God through him. Jesus died on the cross so God could get to us
through him.

Good news! How many of you believe you made it? He (Jesus) made it and that places us all in
Christ. And for that, I’m very grateful.

The 70th Week of Daniel

Now you see I don’t have any reason to preach this folks because if I’m in Christ because of my
belief, I’m there anyway; to hell with the rest of you. (chuckle) You see I’m not preaching this
because of my unbelief be-cause I already believe. In fact I believe more now that I believe that
Jesus is the redeemer of the world rather than someone who died to give the world a chance to be
redeemed. He didn’t give us a chance. He gave us redemption.

Where does it say that Jesus would die on the cross to give us a chance? Where does it say that
God was in Christ, giving us a chance? (chuckle) It’s just not there and thank God it isn’t.

We could read a lot in the book of Daniel but the fact of it is that Daniel did a real good job by
summarizing all of his prophecies in one verse. It wasn’t in a verse when he wrote it but it’s all
in one verse now since we added verses a couple of hundred years ago so we could find stuff.

And that verse in Daniel, chapter 9 verse 24. Now, we’re going to go through this, point by
point. I’m hoping that it will be a real help to you and to those that you pass this tape along to.

Daniel 9:24 Seventy week are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the
transgression and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity and to bring
in everlasting righteousness and to seal up the vision and prophecy and to anoint the most
Holy.

Now, there are six things here that Daniel says would signify that his entire prophecy was
fulfilled. There are six things here that Daniel said that when these things are fulfilled, it would
signify all of his prophecy was fulfilled. Now again, let me remind you that evangelical
Christianity ties this to the book of Revelation and says that the 70th week of Daniel is the book
of Revelation. Let’s go through it and see. Are you ready?

Okay, the very first thing that he said would signify that all 70 weeks of Daniel’s prophecy
would be fulfilled is:

#1 It Would Finish The Transgression.

In other words, whenever this prophecy was to be fulfilled, there would no longer be any such
thing called transgression. It would not exist any more between God and man. And that is what
we’re talking about is the relationship between God and man. It is not about you and your wife.
Your husband may have transgressed but that’s between you and him. (chuckle) Your children
may have transgressed your laws. You see, you have to have laws for them to be transgressed.

I don’t usually do this as you know, but sometimes to unravel tangled up doctrine, you have to
go in and hit it the same way they do, by hitting a verse here and a verse there. But at this point,
we’re going to go in and do that but it’s to unravel the weed that has been put into this and to
show it as a clear picture. What they have used to tell you that the 70th week of Daniel hasn’t
happened, we are going to use also. We will show you tonight that the 70th week of Daniel has
already happened and has been completely fulfilled. If the Christian evangelical community is
right, that the entire book of Revelation hinges on the unfilled last week of Daniel, then we once
again find that the book of Revelation is fulfilled based even on the definition of evangelical
Christianity, because they say all will be fulfilled when the 70th week of Daniel has been
completed.

The 70th Week of Daniel

So the very first thing that is going to signify that all of Daniel’s prophecy is fulfilled is when
transgression is finished.

Turn with me to Romans 4:13 For the promise that He should be the heir of the world, was not
to Abraham or to his seed through the law but through the righteousness of faith.

Now when it says to Abraham and his seed, who did the writer of Romans, which is Paul, say
that this seed was? It was Christ. For the promise that he would inherit the world…what would
he inherit….He would inherit the world. Folks! All people in all nations were Christ’s
inheritance. He didn’t ask you if you wanted to be his inheritance. It was God’s promise that the
entire world would be the inheritance that would go to the seed; to Abraham and his seed. And
his seed, according to this same teacher, is Christ. It wasn’t to the seed through the law but
through the righteousness of faith and that is Christ.

Romans 4:14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void and the promise
made of no effect.

Romans 4:15 Because the law worketh wrath, for where no law is, there is no transgression.

What does the law work? Wrath! For the book of Revelation to be unfilled, what would have to
be unfilled? How many of you see the book of Revelation as a book of wrath? You just can’t
get around it. Honey, I tell you, I’m seeing people flying out of heaven and seeing people
begging to die and seeing blood flowing up to the horses’ bridles. God’s going to throw your
children in a bed of punishment and affliction. Oh my gosh! It just goes on and on. Does that
sound like wrath? Sounds a little bit like wrath to me. The law worketh wrath. So if there’s
wrath left, what still needs to be in existence between God and man? Law has to be in existence
between God and man. Wrath cannot exist without law. The very same thing is in Canada or in
the United States or any place else. You cannot be punished for a law that does not exist. It’s a
very simple equation. The law worketh wrath but where there is no law, there is no
transgression.

Now what do we find out about the law in the book of Galatians? What did Jesus do with that
law? He nailed it to his tree. If you want to go into II Corinthians chapter 3, you can find out
that law did not just include sacrificial and ceremonial laws but it also included what is called the
moral code which is the Ten Commandments. They were completely abolished and done away
with 2,000 years ago on the cross of Jesus Christ. He nailed not only your sins to the tree but he
nailed the law which held your sins against you to the tree.

He didn’t just wipe your slate clean. He threw the slate away and the chalk and the reasoning
that would cause something to be marked against you. You have never had a mark against you
or between you and God. You say, “But oh Brother Mike, I feel it. I’ve failed. I’ve had to get
right with God.” Just because you feel it doesn’t mean it’s true. Could it be someone gave you
wrong information?

I am very happy to announce to you that (with as much love as I have for Jesus and I don’t have
to justify that because I know the love that I have for Christ and what he has done for me) I’m
going on better than four years now since I have experienced one single sensation of guilt
between me and God. In areas that I used to feel guilt are the very same things I felt guilty about

The 70th Week of Daniel

four years ago. What freed my mind? What has happened to me? Well, the evangelicals will
say, “Well your conscience is seared with a hot iron. You can’t even feel guilt any more.”
Folks! If this is a seared conscience, it has filled me with love, joy, peace and gratefulness to
God. I don’t think that is what a seared conscience does.

I’ve been freed from sin consciousness and guilt consciousness. As the promise came, that if the
blood of Christ is going to have a present effect on anyone’s life, there should be therefore now
no condemnation, no guilt for the person who knows who they are in Christ. For where there is
no law, there is no transgression.

Romans 3:16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be
sure to all the seed, not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of
Abraham, who is the father of us all.

What did Ephesians say? How did you become redeemed? For by grace are you saved through
faith. If there is any law there, could there be any faith? Could there be any grace? You see, the
two are opposites to each other. Even Paul taught us in the book of Galatians, he said we were
kept under the law, shut up until faith comes. But when faith came, there was no longer a need
for the schoolmaster which was called the law. You are not under the law if you are under any
grace, you’re under no law. If you’re under any law, you’re under no grace.

You say, does that mean I’m not redeemed? No, you’re just a stupid redeemed person. (chuckle)

Your unbelief cannot undo the faithfulness of God. Just because you’re stupid doesn’t mean
God’s stupid. I’ve been very stupid in my life. I’ve went through the guilt. I’ve went through
the religion. I’ve tried to please God with my works and with my faith and everything else but
just because I was stupid didn’t make God’s covenant of any less effect. Paul made the
statement, “Can our faithlessness undo the faithfulness of God.” It cannot do it. Our
faithlessness cannot undo the faithfulness of God. Paul said in Romans, “Can anything separate
us from the love of God? I’m convinced that nothing can separate us from the love of God that
is in Christ Jesus.” It cannot be done.

And yet most of the teaching that you hear on evangelical Christian television is a constant threat
of separation from God. Folks! I’m telling you that teaching is as antichrist; as antichrist as it
can be. It is not the gospel. It is antichrist. When Christ said I have redeemed you by my blood
and those of you that
didn’t even ask for me, I have called them my own. And a people who never followed me, they
have become righteous in my eyes by the power of my word.

And then the Evangelical Christian community teaches you that if you do not believe, if you do
not accept, if you do not submit, if you don’t tithe… they are teaching antichrist doctrine.

Where there is no law, there is no transgression.

Turn with me to Isaiah 53:5 Isaiah had something to say about this.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the
chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed.

The 70th Week of Daniel

He was wounded for our transgressions. What is one of the things that will fulfill the book of
Daniel? Transgression would be completely finished. He was wounded for our transgressions.
He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for these iniquities that would bring you
peace with God went where? It went upon Christ. It was upon him. It was with his stripes that
we are healed. Many people use that to teach for physical healing. That is not a physical healing
verse. By his stripes, we were healed of transgressions, fulfilling the book of Daniel.

Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and
the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is
brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth
not his mouth.

Isaiah 53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his
generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my
people was he stricken.

Who shall declare his generation…oh folks! What a glorious thing to get to declare his
generation. And it is not a generation of sin. It is a generation of righteousness through the
power of his blood and his sacrifice.

Isaiah 53:9 And he made his grave with the wicked and with the rich in death because he had
done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Isaiah 53:10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt
make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the
pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

Have you ever wondered if you were pleasing the Lord?

You are because it’s all in the hand of Jesus. You say, “Well Mike, how can you say my life is
pleasing to the Lord?” It is just the fact that you exist without the possibility of transgression
being counted against you. You are not a glorification to God because you keep his laws. You
are a glorification to God on this earth because whether you keep his laws or not you are
righteous and holy in the sight of God. Your life, your being glorifies God no matter, what you
do.

You say, “Well I don’t understand that.” Well, the glorious thing is that even if you did “real
good”, your reward is no longer in you; it’s in Jesus Christ. And even if you do “real bad”, you
still glorify God because when God doesn’t have to punish you, that glorifies Jesus Christ. So
whether you are good or bad, it doesn’t matter. Folks, your life and your being, glorifies God.

I struggled for years to try to glorify God. All I did was get worse at it. I never got better at it.

Isaiah 53:11 He shall see the travail of his soul and shall be satisfied; by his knowledge shall
my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

The 70th Week of Daniel

Folks, if there’s punishment yet coming in the book of Revelation as people suppose it will, the
Bible says that God would see the suffering of Jesus’ soul for sin and be what? He would be
satisfied. If you see an angry God after the cross, what would you have to say He IS NOT? He’s
not satisfied. Satisfied! Anger is satisfied! Punishment is satisfied! The payment for sin is
satisfied! The finishing of transgression is satisfied!

verse 11 …by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many and we know what the
term “many” in Biblical terms means. It means all.

verse 11 …for he shall bear their iniquities. How many will he justify? He will bear the
iniquities of the same amount of people that he justified, which was all.

How many did Jesus bear the iniquity of? All! So then how many are justified in his eyes? All!

How about them stinking unbelievers?

They’re justified. Folks, Christianity turned the Gospel on its head and said you have to believe
to become justified. We’re supposed to be out preaching that you’ve been justified and that is
what is supposed to create believers. We’re not supposed to create believers by threatening them
with wrath from God. We’re supposed to be making believers out of people who know that God
is satisfied with the punishment that he took in his own self; in his own son on the tree. How
much more loved can be demonstrated to this earth? And how much love has been withheld
through evangelical Christianity?

Buddhists understand the love of God better than Christians do. I don’t stand against Buddhism
most of the “isms” of this world until they begin to say, “Well, if you don’t believe our way it’s
hell or if you don’t believe our way and keep our laws”. Then it’s no better than Christianity.

He justified as many as he bore their iniquities. Good news!

How many of you think that it sounds like transgression is finished?

Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ who through the eternal Spirit
offered himself without spot to God, purse your conscience from dead works to serve the living
God?

What is the #1 thing that is supposed to happen to a believer? Your conscience should be purged
from dead works? What’s a dead work? It’s trying to do something to be right with God. And
what does Christianity preach? It preaches to stick to dead works. If you’ve ever heard a
sermon that said if you do this or do that, to be right with God, you are being told to practice
dead works; not the blood of Christ purging your conscience from dead works.

Folks, I hope your lives are filled with good works; good ones and wonderful ones that help
everybody around you. But if you’re doing things to be right with God, you’re stuck in dead
works. But the blood of Christ has the power to purge that conscience. Get those dead works
out of there. We got to get out of dead works to serve the living God.

The 70th Week of Daniel

Isaiah 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death,
for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are
called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Now, this is a shocker. Jesus died for the transgressions that were under the old covenant. Boy,
I tell you what folks, if there is any such thing as transgressions under this one, the blood of
Jesus won’t take care of it. His blood cleansed the world from the transgressions of the old
covenant. What does that tell you? You’re in trouble or transgression was finished 2,000 years
ago. Wow! The power of this Gospel…this is one of those that totally grabbed my thinking,
probably a couple of years ago. I read it and I read it back again and I read over it again. And it
said that the blood of Christ cleansed us from the transgressions of the old covenant or the old
covenant; the one that had the law in it.

Folks, do you see that what I’m sharing with you does not support any version of evangelical
Christianity at all? But it does support that Jesus Christ is Lord. It’s not Buddhism that
undermines the Lordship of Jesus. It is evangelical Christianity that undermines the Lordship of
Jesus.

To preach that there are still transgressions in the world, is to preach that Jesus Christ died in
vain.

Let’s turn to the book of Daniel again.

So what has happened to transgression? Transgression is finished. So one of the six things that
Daniel said would be over with and signify the completion of all 70 weeks of his prophecy, we
have found out one of them even validated in the New Testament; one of them is fulfilled.
Transgression has been finished. You’ll see it validated in some other verses.

# 2 To Make An End Of Sins

Daniel 9:24 ….to make an end of sins.
Now, this is where you’re going to have a real rough time with Christians. The whole thing that
holds Christianity together is we’re constantly getting people cleansed of their sins; over and
over and over and over and over and over and over and over, Sunday after Sunday. You know, a
good altar call in most churches I was raised in wasn’t until we preached you so guilty you came
forth crying, begging for forgiveness again. That was the anointing…hallelujah. If we could not
make you feel guilty, and get you up in the altar call, begging God to forgive you of sins, we
weren’t very good preachers.

There would be an end of sins when Daniel’s prophecy was fulfilled.

Turn with me to I John 3: I have to tell you I am taking you to very limited places because we
could teach whole chapters night after night on each of these topics. But we’re going to leave
the rest of the study up to you. It is fantastic.

How many of you have heard the topic of sin all your life? What is sin? Lets read and see what
Paul’s definition of sin is. Sin is unbelief. Paul taught that there are two types of sin. One is the
sin of unbelief and the other is what he brings out here in I John 3: 1

The 70th Week of Daniel

I John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called
the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

When he talks about the world here, he’s not talking about the prostitute on the corner. He’s talking
about the religious system of the day. That world is what you’ve been called out of. It’s the one you feel
you’ve got to be some part of. It’s the world you’ve been called to come out of and to be ye

separate saith the Lord. Don’t be a part of doctrines that preach an unfulfilled work of the cross
of Jesus Christ.

I John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:
but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him for we shall see him as he is.

Folks, you’re not going to be like him because you struggled hard. You’re like him because you
get to see him for what he is and just the fact that you see it makes you just like him. That’s the
renewing of the mind. It’s the transformation of the soul and the heart to be renewed to this
powerful Gospel; not going out and threatening people with hell but going out and threaten them
with eternal life in Christ. (chuckle) Say, “Listen you heathen, you’re going to heaven forever.
And there’s nothing you can do to stop it. I guarantee you’ll make a believer out of that person.
Folks, go threaten people with heaven. Go threaten them with eternal life. Go threaten them that
there’s nothing they can do to separate themselves from the love of a powerful God who decided
in himself to redeem this world by his own power; by his own purpose, by his own will, by his
own son and didn’t ask one human being on the face of this earth if they agreed or not.

Folks, we’ve watched the wicked cycle of preaching people into a guilt ridden belief in Christ
and what does it start? Does it start mental health? No! It starts mental illness. Because then
you come in and you find out what gets you close to God and what separates you from God; and
if you tithe, God will give you a new home.

If you don’t tithe, he’s going to curse your whole house and everything. If you obey God, if you
have a lustful heart, then God can’t be close to you. If you go in a bar, the Holy Sprit stays
outside. If you drive over the speed limit, angels get out. No! Ah! This is the extreme mental
illness of free will religion.

I John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

How do you purify yourself? Is it by obeying laws? Folks, it’s just by having your mind
renewed by the power of the Gospel.

I John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law, for sin is the transgression of
the law.

Now this already becomes fairly self explanatory because what did we just find out happened to
transgression? It’s finished. Why is it finished? To transgress, you have to have a law and if the
law has been done away with, can you transgress something that is not there? It cannot be done.
You say, “Well, they’re not transgressing the law but they are not redeemed until they become
believers.” Folks, believing was just another law that Jesus set up. You say, “Oh well, Jesus set
up brand new laws.” Yes! He told the rich man he’d have to sell everything he had and give it
to the poor. Even Moses didn’t say that! Jesus set up any kind of law when he saw the self

The 70th Week of Daniel

righteousness of men. If he saw that a man thought that he was righteous by what he did, he told
them that was exactly what they had to do. It’s a wonderful plan. Whatever Jesus perceived was
in the heart of man that he could do, then Jesus said that was the requirement. Look at the poor
dude that sat at the table at the last supper. Jesus let him know. You’re going to deny me. Oh
no, not me.

Folks, everything that you think makes you acceptable to God, you will stumble in and fall flat
on your face. It’s a good reason to come out of self righteousness. I know people who think that
their prayer life keeps them close to God. I don’t know people who hate prayer more than those
people. They just detest it after awhile.

It’s like, Oh my God, I gotta pray again. They even set the egg timer. I gotta spend time with
the Lord. He’s not an egg. You’re not waiting on something to hatch. You’re not waiting on
something to reach a boiling point. You’re connected to God through the blood of Christ
without your will. You don’t need to get redeemed. You need knowledge of the fact that you
are redeemed. Become believers. Go around and propagate believers. Win believers. Win
people to Christ. Yes, but don’t you dare make them feel that their belief gains them redemption
because you will make them twofold the children of guilt and condemnation that you’ve been.

I John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins and in him is no sin.

Oh well Mike, now you’ve gone too far. You’re saying that there is no sin in the world. You’re
exactly right. Thank you for accusing me. What is sin? Biblical sin’s definition is the
transgression of the law. Where there is no law, there is no transgression. How can you sin in
God’s eyes? Folk, you can sin against each other because of the laws we have about
relationships. You can sin against the Canadian government. You can sin in a lot of ways but
you or no one else on the face of planet earth can sin between you and God because there would
have to be a law to justify the transgression which would call it sin.

And ye know that he was manifested….oh why was he manifested? To take away our sin and in
him there is no sin. In him, what does no exist in Christ? Sin! Are you in Christ? Are you in
sin? You can’t be both. Yes Brother that’s right and if you’re in sin, you ain’t in Jesus any
more! You slip right out. You see, I agree with the evangelical. You cannot be in sin and be in
Christ. They just believe sin is stronger than Christ. I believe Christ is stronger than sin. They
believe that sin destroys Christ. I believe Christ destroyed sin.

I John 3 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him,
neither known him.

Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not….Wow! Well I must not really be abiding in Jesus any
more. I sinned today. Because I John says that if anybody is really abiding in him they wouldn’t
sin.

Folks, I abide in him and therefore I sin not. And abiding in him is not done by my performance.
It’s done by his performance to keep me and hold me in the clutches of his grace.

Whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him…..Folks, that’s what knowing Christ
is. Once you know and understand Christ, you know you’re not in sin any more.

The 70th Week of Daniel

People that go around saying well I know Jesus and yet they’re repenting from sin all the time
and confessing sin all the time, Paul said, you don’t know him. Now I didn’t say that he didn’t
know you. You don’t know him. Paul said the power of this redemption is not in the fact that
you know him but that he knows us.

The power that transformed your life is when you get to know him outside of sin but if you have
a sin conscience, you’re never going to understand this great redeemer that we have.

I John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousnessness is
righteous, even as he is righteous.

Don’t let anybody deceive you that their works make them righteous. How much of their works
have to be righteous for them to be righteous? They have to be all righteous. Don’t let the
religious people deceive you by saying they’re righteous by their deeds because if their deeds
make them righteous, all of their deeds and all of their works have to make them righteous.

John has given us a choice here as to whether or not we’re going to live under self righteousness
or imputed righteousness.

I John 3: 8 He that committeth sin is of of the devil for the devil sinneth from the beginning.
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil.

He that committeth sin is of the devil…..I’ve been trying to tell my wife that for years. She’s of
the devil. (chuckle)

For the devil sinneth from the beginning…for this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he
might destroy the works of the devil. Wait a minute. How could you be of the devil if you sin if
Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and the works of the devil is…he’s the one that
sinneth from the beginning. And the only way you can sin is to transgress the law, and the only
way you can transgress the law is if the law is there. If the law is gone away, the devil’s been
defeated.

I John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin, for his seed remaineth in him and
he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Wow! You say, well you’ve got to get born again first. May I recommend this tape series to you
entitled, “The Redemption of The World”? The first tape in the series is entitled, “You Must
Be Born Again”. Another stronghold of deception in Evangelical Christianity which is a
doctrine that does not exist in the Bible is that of a born again experience, which is a personal
individual experience. It is not taught anywhere in the Bible.

Yes, Jesus told Nickademous, “Ye must be born again.” But Paul taught that when Jesus rose
from the dead, the entire human race was born again. Sounds like Jesus fulfilling the
requirements he put on people and that’s exactly what he did.

He that is born of God cannot sin…..Why? Because his seed remaineth in him because he is
born of God. So what has happened to sin? It has ended folks. Turn back to the book of Daniel.

# 3 He Would Make Reconciliation For Iniquity

Daniel 9:24 And to make reconciliation for iniquity

These are all so similar but yet at the same time there are specific subjects about this.
Reconciliation is a big word. It’s reconciliation for iniquity.
Turn with me to II Corinthians 5: 17

This will be a powerful tape to have and to share with other people.

II Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are
passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Therefore if any man be in Christ……..What did we learn last night? Who all is in Christ? It’s
whoever he predestined to be there. And who did he predestine to be in Christ? It was all.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…What does that mean? It means
something that never existed on earth before. How many of you doubted you were in Christ
because there wasn’t too much about your creature? (chuckle) Man…Paul said if I was in
Christ, I’d be a new creature. I still have the same thoughts and lusts and desires and all this
humanness and weakness in me. I’ve just become a good liar. That’s all.

He is a new creature: old things are passed away…..Boy if you read this in context. We’ve got a
fantastic tape on this also. It’s called “The Judgment Seat of Christ.”

II Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus
Christ and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.

II Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not
imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Does it say reconciling believers unto him? No, it says reconciling the world unto himself not
imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

What word of reconciliation? You can be right with God? You can be reconciled to God? If
you do this right and if you believe in Christ, God will reconcile unto himself? What is the
ministry of reconciliation? You have been reconciled to God?

The ministry of reconciliation is not what Evangelical Christianity preaches that if you’ll come
and believe and be a part of the group…Folks, first, you get told that all you gotta do it believe
till you get in the group…if you’re gonna go that way, believe, and then run. (chuckle)

Hebrews 2:16, 17
For verily he took not on the nature of angels but he took on him the seed of
Abraham….(that’s what we talked about again last night) wherefore in all things, it behooved
him to be made like unto his brethren that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in
things pertaining to God to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

The 70th Week of Daniel

Now, what has happened to sin? It’s already been done away with. Can Jesus make
reconciliation for the sins of the people now? It’s not possible folks. Those sins and
transgressions were recorded by the first covenant and they’re not even under this covenant.
We’re talking about a past tense work of the power of the cross of Jesus Christ.

Turn with me to Ephesians 2:13
But now in Christ Jesus, ye who were sometimes far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
How many of you have been trying to get closer to God? You’re not made nigh by your prayer
life, tithing, your attendance, your submission to leadership as we’ve been told. You’ve been
made nigh by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:14 For he is our peace who hath made both one (Jew and Gentile is the subject
here) and hath broken down the middle wall of partition (or division) between us.

Daniel 9:24 And to bring in everlasting righteousness

The only thing I can say here is to listen to all my tapes. (chuckle) We’re not going to go
through a great detail because it is loaded. We just teach on this one for nights and nights about
everlasting righteousness. How many of you believe that the righteousness that you have is
everlasting? Is it temporary righteousness? Let’s look at Romans Chapter 3.

Romans 3:19 Now we know that what things so ever the law saith, it saith to them who are
under the law: that every mouth may be stopped and all the world may become guilty before
God.

Are you under the law? Then it doesn’t saith anything to you. (chuckle)
and that the whole world may become guilty…..What was the law given for? To make us
understand that we are guilty by our breaking of the law. No! We were guilty because of the
transgression of the first Adam.

Romans 3: 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight::
for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed
by the law and the prophets.

Wow! Has everlasting righteousness gotten here? That’s 4 out of 6.

# 5 It Would Seal Up The Vision And The Prophecy

Seal up means to end the vision or stop it….It would bring a complete end to seal up the vision.
I’m only going to quote one thing to you on that one. When Jesus died on the cross, what did he
say?
It is finished. So has the vision and the prophecy been sealed? According to the proclamation of
Jesus on the cross, the vision and the prophecy was finished.

# 6 And To Anoint The Most Holy.

The 70th Week of Daniel

What is the first and last qualification to determine by a person reading the book of Daniel as to
whether or not Daniel’s prophecy is already completely fulfilled? And may I also say again to
you, according to the evangelical doctrine, if the book of Daniel is fulfilled, the book of
Revelation is fulfilled. That’s their quote, not mine.

The book of Revelation would be fulfilled when Daniel’s 70th week of prophecy would be
completed. That is their firm stand.

Do you realize what they’re saying when they say that the 70th week of Daniel has not been
fulfilled? Folks, that is one of the most awesome antichrist statements that you will ever hear, is
that the 70th week of Daniel is unfilled. They are saying transgression has not been dealt
with…they have said sin has not been brought to an end. They have said God has not reconciled
man to himself. They have said everlasting righteousness is not here. They have said Jesus lied
when he said, “It is finished.”

This is another one we could take you through, oh my, wonderful chapters and verses. I don’t
have to convince you that the most holy has been anointed. I don’t even have to convince the
evangelical who believes this crap, the other way. Who is the most holy? Well, that’s Jesus.

Do you think he’s been anointed yet? Oh yeah. Do you think the 70th week of Daniel has been
fulfilled? Oh no brother. That’s connected to the book of Revelation and we know all about the
blood up to the horses’ bridle and stinging things flying out of heaven and God’s going to throw
everybody in a bed of affliction and he’s going to judge every island and every nation and there’s
going to be pain and suffering and all kinds of torment and oh no, no, no brother. You just don’t
understand the dispensations of God.

I may not know a thing about dispensations but I know something about the completed work of
the cross. It is finished.

Let us read at least Acts 10 anyway, just to see the beauty of it written by people who even
argued about the issues. It still made it through it.

Acts 10:36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus
Christ: he is Lord of all.

I like that little quote. He is Lord of all! Don’t you ever let anybody tell you that you have to
make Jesus the Lord of your life. Jesus is the Lord of your life because he is Lord of all. God
made him your Lord. You can’t make Jesus Lord. What a self righteous stinking thing and the
fact there’s not one line any place in the Bible, old testament, new testament, that a person has to
make Jesus the Lord of their life; it is utterly amazing that evangelical Christianity has gotten by
with the deceit that it has. But I used to preach it. I know what it is. I preached deceit because I
got deceit preached to me. I came to Christ and I wanted to understand everything that I could
and I swallowed everything that came in and I became a evangelical Christian who believed I
was going to heaven and unbelievers were going to hell.

Acts 10:37 That word I say you know, which was published throughout all Judea and began
from Galilee, after the baptism that John preached.

The 70th Week of Daniel

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power who
went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil for God was with him.

God had already anointed the most holy.

I searched through all six points of the 70th week of Daniel and I encourage you to search too.
Folks, all I see is Jesus in the 70th week of Daniel. All I see is the death, the burial and
resurrection of Jesus. I don’t see the future from this point. I see the cross; the power of the
risen savior.

We have paralyzed this world with doctrines of fear and intimidation and because our hearts
accepted this Jesus with great joy but our minds when they started preaching these doctrines to
us, and it’s like, “Wow, I don’t understand that”. And we had to just keep going and going and
we got addicted to sin consciousness through organized religion.

Folks, I’m not against organization. It took people to organize this conference. But the
difference between organizing to be able to preach the Gospel and organized religion, is the
difference between what is preached when you’re organized to do it.

Yes we did organization to get this done. Yes, it takes more organization that you would ever
think. But we didn’t get organize to get you in to bondage to the speaker. We didn’t organize to
get you in to bondage to guiltiness and guilt consciousness. We organized so that we would have
a venue to share freedom with you. Whether you ever listen to Mike Williams ever again or not
is not going to change God’s opinion of you. When it’s organized to get you addicted to where
you feel you have to go to maintain your fellowship and your relationship with God, that’s the
ministry of death. It is not the ministry of the Spirit.

I have Good News! The 70th week of Daniel was completely fulfilled 2,000 years ago through
the power of the sacrifice, the obedience, the death, the burial and the resurrection of Jesus
Christ. And if I’m going to be called a heretic for preaching these things, I have no problem
being labeled with a heresy that gives Jesus all the credit at the cross for all things in heaven and
in earth.

He is Lord of all.
